How does TAPro's bulk pricing calculator work?

Select a TAPro NFC or NFC + QR product, choose a quantity of 50 or more, and the calculator estimates the applicable volume tier, unit price, total merchandise value, and savings versus standard retail pricing. Results are indicative; final commercial pricing is reviewed based on inventory, customization, fulfillment, and project requirements.

What Matters Most to Your Business?

Lowest Possible Price

Unit cost is the deciding factor.

Premium Quality

Finish, consistency and presentation matter most.

Fast U.S. Fulfillment

In-stock, domestic, quick to ship.

Balanced Value

Price, quality, availability and support together.

You Already Understand Value When You Buy a Burger.

$1

Suspiciously Cheap

Makes most people wonder how the ingredients, labor, equipment, packaging and service are even possible.

$10

Great Value

A large, fresh, juicy all-beef burger with good service and a clean restaurant. You probably found your new place.

$100

Expensive Doesn't Automatically Mean Better

Makes people question whether they're simply being overcharged.

NFC products are not very different. Quality costs something. Price alone does not prove quality.

TAPro doesn't aim to be the $1 burger. We aren't trying to be the $100 burger either. We aim to be the place you trust, reorder from, and recommend because the product and experience were worth what you paid.

A product that merely contains an NFC chip is not automatically equivalent to a professionally manufactured finished NFC product. Chip type, antenna tuning, waterproofing, and precision-cut edges all determine whether a tap works instantly the first time — on an old phone or a brand-new one. Ours are cut and assembled by machines, lasers, and robotics, not by hand on a hobbyist's desk. Learn how NFC chips, antennas and tags actually work →

Indicative — not a final quote. Commercial pricing shown is for planning purposes and assumes the project details stay as configured. If the actual order changes materially at time of purchase — product, quantity tier, customization, timeline, or destination — pricing is recalculated accordingly. We don't quote one number and switch it on you; we also don't hold a number that no longer reflects the real order.

Ordering fewer than 50?

This calculator is built for genuine bulk orders. For smaller quantities, our pre-built multi-packs (up to 10 units) already include strong per-unit savings — no need to configure a commercial project for a handful of units. Browse packs for your selected product →

This pricing is for buyers ready to move forward.

If you're ready to place an order, write to us with what the calculator showed you — product, quantity, and the estimated pricing — and we'll very likely be able to do even better for you. What's shown here is a starting point, not our ceiling.

What we can't do is spend the day running custom numbers for inquiries with no real intent behind them. If you're still just exploring, the pricing on this page is the number to work with for now — and that's genuinely fine. Come back to us once you're ready to commit.

Shipping, insurance & signature confirmation

Larger orders often need more than standard shipping. Depending on order size and value, we may add signature confirmation, shipping insurance, or a more reliable freight option — for example, an order worth $5,000 or more in merchandise will generally ship with insurance and signature confirmation as standard practice, not an upsell. These are added transparently at the quote stage, not buried in a surprise invoice later.

500 What?

"How much for 500?" We receive this question often. The problem is that 500 review cards going to one warehouse is not the same project as 500 review stands, across 200 locations, with custom branding, shipping individually, under a deadline.

ProductQuantityColor LocationsShippingTimelineRepeat Volume First-Time or ReturningOne Business or ManySupport ExpectedSeasonal Demand

500 units activated to one business is one project. 500 units activated across 500 different end businesses — because the buyer is an agency or marketing company reselling to their own clients — is a fundamentally different project, with different support expectations and different packaging needs per unit.

One box, one shipping label is a different job than 500 boxes, 500 shipping labels, 500 addresses. That difference alone can be a bigger driver of cost than the product itself.

Whether you're a first-time buyer or a returning one, whether this is a new product rollout or standard stock, and how much of our team's time is expected after the sale — none of it, or full support for 500 separate end customers — all factor into what a real quote looks like.

Quantity starts the conversation. It doesn't finish the quote.

Fast. Cheap. Good. Pick Two — the Third Doesn't Exist.

This isn't a sales tactic, it's just true of manufacturing anything. A supplier promising fast, cheap, and good all at once is telling you something that doesn't exist. We chose good and fast. We are not the cheap option, and we're telling you that plainly instead of letting you find out after the order arrives.

Fast, cheap, good -- you can only pick two, having all three at once doesn't exist

Purchasing Solely on Unit Price

  • Product differs from listing image
  • Ambiguous specifications
  • Production delays
  • Shipping changes
  • Minimal packaging
  • Surface scratching
  • Lamination bubbles or peeling layers
  • Weak adhesive
  • Inconsistent QR printing or NFC response
  • Poor antenna tuning
  • Limited testing
  • Difficult replacements
  • Communication delays
  • Inconsistent reorders
  • Supplier or hosted service disappears

TAPro's Commercial Approach

  • U.S.-based operations
  • U.S. inventory where applicable
  • Product consistency
  • NFC and QR testing
  • Professional presentation
  • Protective packaging
  • Commercial support
  • Warranty where applicable
  • Repeat-order consistency
  • Multiple formats
  • Deployment support
  • Domestic fulfillment
  • Real business contact

These are procurement risks that can occur when selecting suppliers solely on lowest unit price. Not every inexpensive or overseas supplier has these problems.

100 Products Should Not Mean 100 Different Experiences.

One product should not scan instantly while another requires two or three attempts. At commercial scale, consistency becomes a feature.

Your customers carry a mix of old and new phones, different brands, different NFC hardware. If a product only reads reliably on the newest models, some real share of your customers will tap it, get nothing, tap it again, get nothing, and quietly give up before a review or a payment or a form ever loads. That's not a hypothetical — it's the actual failure mode of poorly-tuned antennas at scale.

The True Procurement Cost Equation

Unit Price+ Failure Rate+ Staff Time+ Shipping+ Replacements+ Support+ Deployment Risk= True Procurement Cost
Quality+ Fair Price+ Consistency+ Dependable Delivery+ Support= Value

Your Time Has Value

A supplier saves $0.75 per unit. Across 500 units, that's $375 in apparent savings — before sorting, testing, emails, replacement requests, deployment delays, and repacking enter the picture. The $375 was not necessarily free savings. The business may simply have paid for it somewhere else.

Cheap products can become expensive through labor.

Your Supplier Is Invisible. Their Quality Is Not.

If a review product doesn't work, the end customer doesn't blame the hidden manufacturer. They blame the company that handed them the product. This matters most for agencies and resellers whose own reputation rides on it.

Shipping Should Not Become the Hardest Part of Your Order.

Changing production dates, changing dispatch estimates, international transit, customs, unexpected shipment splitting, limited tracking, and damage are all real procurement risks. TAPro maintains U.S. inventory across applicable products, allowing many in-stock commercial orders to avoid lengthy custom manufacturing cycles — subject to inventory, quantity, customization, and project requirements.

Organized TAPro U.S. inventory ready for commercial fulfillment

It Should Arrive Looking Like Something You'd Hand to Your Customer.

Packaging affects protection, scratching, surface finish, organization, and deployment readiness. Your employees should not become the final manufacturing department.

The Chip May Last. What About the Company Behind the URL?

NFC products can use direct URLs, redirect URLs, hosted profiles, activation dashboards, or dynamic destinations. Commercial buyers should understand who controls the URL, whether it can be changed, whether the NFC can be rewritten, what happens if a hosted service closes, whether the QR code uses the same destination, and whether a subscription is required. See the technical encyclopedia for more →

This is also why activation software matters as much as the physical product. A dashboard that's fast, simple, and reliable to activate through is part of what you're buying — and it's worth asking how long a supplier has actually been operating. A company that started as a side project two months ago disappearing later means every product URL tied to it can go dark with it.

Two Ways In. Zero Confusion.

NFC: Tap. QR: Scan. Same configured destination. QR provides another access method when tapping is inconvenient.

Commercial Hardware Shouldn't Require an IT Department.

What You're Actually Paying For

A product that looks identical in a photo isn't the same product once it arrives. The real differences live in the chip, the antenna tuning, waterproofing, precision-cut edges, and whether it's built by machines and lasers or assembled by hand on a hobbyist's desk. Those differences decide whether it scans instantly on the first tap across old and new phones alike, or whether five customers in a row give up trying.

We're not the cheapest option on the internet, and we're not trying to be. If lowest possible unit cost is genuinely your only deciding factor, we're probably not the right fit for this order — and that's a fair thing for both of us to know upfront, before either of us spends time on it.

The few dollars you save going cheaper up front can cost thousands in lost customers if the product just doesn't work.

TAPro's positioning

TAPro doesn't aim to be the cheapest.

TAPro doesn't aim to be the most expensive.

TAPro aims to be the purchase you don't regret.

A product that arrives. A product that looks professional. A product that works. A product you can reorder. A company you can reach. A supplier that understands what happens after the box arrives.

Your Project

Custom branding is available on orders of 100 units or more. Below 100, our standard designs are faster to produce and keep our best pricing — custom work takes longer and costs more per unit. Custom-branded orders are prepaid in full and are non-returnable once artwork is approved; the run is yours once it's approved and produced.

Reseller Qualification

Wholesale/reseller pricing is intended for legitimate commercial relationships. TAPro may decline anonymous speculative inquiries, competitor price collection, misleading resale practices, unauthorized brand representation, or applications without sufficient business information. A legitimate small reseller can still be valuable — the distinction is legitimacy and commercial fit, not company size.
