Cards Sold Themselves When I Saw How they Were Used!

I had the pleasure of experiencing a top-notch cleaning service recently. Great idea , good results.

After reading the Google tricks and secrets ranking your business, I realized one very important fact that in the past, I never would ask my customers for reviews at the peak of their engagement and excitement. The old School way I would ask them , they would nod their head , they say they would do it and if I was lucky, I would get maybe one out of 100. If not one out of 200customers to leave me a review, that is a horrible- horrible ratio. I got the sticker cards and I placed them on the outside of each truck or trailer in anytime. One of my technicians is talking to a customer will give them an invoice. Typically he is by the truck. They ask the customer to swipe the phone ,two seconds and review is there . Amazing and great way not to have to worry about carry a card in the wallet or if you don’t want to get a keychain, this product is perfect.

This Lil' Pink Thing’s the Cutest Dang Game-Changer in My Spa!

Well butter my biscuit, I didn’t think somethin’ so tiny could be this dang powerful! I run a lil’ beauty spa all decked out in white ‘n pink—real girly, real classy—and lemme tell ya, this pink Google Review Coin fits in like sweet tea on a hot porch day.

I just stuck it right by my checkout mirror where all the gals fix their lashes, and WHOOSH! Reviews been rollin’ in faster than a gossip at Sunday brunch. Folks tap it or scan it with their fancy phones, and BOOM—they’re leavin’ reviews like it’s nothin’. No more beggin’ or awkward askin’.

It’s sturdy and cuter than a piglet in a tutu. My clients think it’s high-tech but its simple stupid and yet still adorable—and honestly, same.

If you’re runnin’ a salon, spa, or any place that smells like eucalyptus and glitter, you NEED these stands. I asked why they are some 25% more then the others, i was told because it a limited edition and when you don't make like thousands at onces , you pay lots more , so i am cool , i got my money worth first customers review i received that i never would of had. It's Good

I’ve been using the Google review stands for a little while now, and while I’ve gotten a lot of 5-star reviews, I’m also getting a few 3- and 4-star reviews. I’m a bit confused and honestly not too happy about it. I thought with the review stands in place, I’d be getting mostly glowing feedback from my customers. I was hoping for more 5-stars across the board. Just wondering why I'm getting those 3-star reviews too.

The way your business operates and the quality of service you provide are completely within your control, and there are many ways to influence the types of reviews you receive.

In any business, it’s unrealistic to expect 100% perfect reviews, even if you provide the best service in the world. Unfortunately, there will always be people who aren’t satisfied, sometimes for reasons beyond your control. There are individuals who can be upset by anything, and if they decide to leave a less-than-perfect review, that's just part of the territory.

While you can’t control every review, what you *can* do is respond professionally to each review, whether it’s good or bad. Acknowledge the feedback, and continue to encourage your happy customers to leave reviews. By focusing on your satisfied customers and making sure you have a steady stream of 5-star reviews, those less-than-perfect reviews will be outweighed by the positive ones.

If you happen to get two bad reviews in a row, it might be time to have your employees ask for reviews more actively. The key is to flood those negative reviews with positive ones. If you please 9 out of 10 customers, don’t stress over the 1 grouch. They’re outnumbered!

Waited too long.

The business card I ordered took about 4 days to arrive, which was a bit disappointing. I was hoping for something more immediate—maybe a day at most. I get that things take time, but waiting almost a week for something that I needed sooner was a bit of a letdown. Would’ve been happy with a quicker turnaround. Hopefully, next time the process can be a bit faster.

Here’s a breakdown of what happens after you place your order:

1. Order Processing on Our End: Once your order is placed, we need to package, label, and prepare it for shipment. This doesn’t happen automatically. We have working hours too, so depending on when you place your order, it could be processed the same day if it’s before 7pm PST. Keep in mind, you’re 3 hours ahead of us, which can sometimes cause a delay in getting the order into our system.

2. **UPS Pickup**: After processing, the package is handed off to UPS. UPS has specific pickup times, so there can be a slight delay in getting your package into their system. On busy days (especially when we have 50+ orders), we drive to UPS ourselves to drop them off due to the volume, but UPS only has two scheduled pickup times, which may not align perfectly with when we have everything ready.

3. Package Loading: Once UPS has the package, it’s processed at local facilities and loaded onto a truck. The truck then heads to UPS's main warehouse, where it’s sorted again. From there, it gets placed onto a semi-truck, which may make multiple stops along the way to deliver packages to other areas before it even gets close to your location.

4. Processing at the Local UPS Facility: Once the package arrives at your local UPS facility, it undergoes another round of processing to make sure everything is in order for delivery.

5. Next Available Shift: After processing, your package is placed on the next available delivery shift, which depends on the time of day and the driver’s route.

6. Delivery: The UPS driver starts their route, and depending on where you are in their schedule, you might be the first stop or the last stop of their shift. If you're the last stop, it can feel like a longer wait.

We understand that waiting can be frustrating, especially in today’s fast-paced world. However, keep in mind that shipping across 3,000 miles from Washington to New York involves many moving parts. A 3-4 day delivery time is actually quite fast considering all these steps, and that doesn’t even account for potential delays like weather or other factors outside of our control.

I’ve found some really fun and surprisingly useful ways to use NFC coins around my business. I started with a batch of 30, and now I’m wondering why I didn’t order more.

One of the best uses has been for collecting Google reviews. I placed a few coins at each station and checkout area, and it’s made it super easy for customers to leave feedback with just a tap. Definitely seeing an uptick in reviews.

I also use them as digital menus at my café-style counter. Instead of printing and reprinting menus, people can just tap and view the latest version on their phones. Simple and efficient.

Not getting as many as I want.

We’ve been using the Google review card for a few weeks now, but honestly haven’t seen as many reviews come in as we were hoping for. It’s a nice concept, but so far the results are better then before but not allot. Was expecting more traction.

It felt much simpler and more approachable—especially for my clientele, which is mostly seniors. Instead of fumbling with tech, they just tap and go. At my diner, I’ve trained all the servers and hosts to gently point guests to the stand and stickers as they leave, asking: “What was the best thing about your visit today?” (Shoutout to the owner of TAPro for that awesome line!) I got 7 of the black Google review stands—one for each of my stylists at the salon—and they’ve been a game changer. One stylist in particular is leading the pack just because he makes it fun and tells each customer he’s excited to test out this new high-tech tool. Very cool small product.

I didn’t realize just how many things these small NFC coin tags can be used for! My favorite use so far is activating Wi-Fi access. I used to get tired of constantly giving out the password to customers in the waiting area—now I’ve got three NFC tags placed around with a sign that says “Tap to get free Wi-Fi.” Works like a charm.

I’ve also started using them to share a direct link for leaving reviews—just a quick tap and customers can leave feedback in seconds. Another cool one is triggering a digital loyalty card or coupon for return visits. These little tags are seriously handy!

Car Wash Perfection.

I own a car wash with 15 bay stalls. Most customers don’t go inside—they just run through the wash, then pull into a stall to vacuum and clean the interior. I recently added some cool stickers right on the vacuums that let people scan a code and leave a review. Since putting them up, I’ve been getting an average of 3 to 5 more reviews per day than before. My car wash is only a year old, but I already have more reviews and traffic than any other car wash in town!

Cheapest investment with biggest outcome

We bought five white TAPro stands for our parts store and placed them at each of our five registers. For some reason, two of the stands in the middle are getting twice as many reviews compared to the others. Not sure if it’s the employees working those registers or just that those registers are used more often, but either way, the reviews are rolling in!
