How to Program Your TAPro Google Review Product (QR Code + NFC)

This quick setup process applies to ALL TAPro Google Review products that include a QR code, such as:

Whether it's in your hand or on your counter — if it has a QR code, these instructions are for you.


🛠️ Step-by-Step Programming Instructions (Takes Under 1 Minute)

⚠️ These products are pre-programmed with a QR code already embedded — you do NOT need to generate a QR code. You’re simply linking that QR to your business profile using the app.

📲 What You’ll Need:

  • Your TAPro Product

  • A smartphone

  • The App (Free on iOS & Android) 


🔧 Programming Steps:

  1. ⬇️ Download the App Provide in video and by scanning the QR Code.
    – Available on both Apple App Store & Google Play.

  2. 📝 Open the App
    – Register (only once)
    – Skip pop-ups and unnecessary prompts if you doing google review only.- If you are programming  an NFC business card read each prompt, DO NOT skip it. 

  3. 📂 Tap the Menu (☰ top left corner)
    – Go to “Google Review Cards”
    – Then select “Add Card”

  4. 📸 Scan the QR Code on your TAPro product
    – Click OK to attach the code to your account

  5. 🔗 Program Your Google Review Link
    – Name your card or item (ex: "Front Desk Plate" or "Bracelet")
    – Search for your business using the integrated map
    – Click Save

  6. Test It Immediately
    – Scan the QR code or tap the NFC area with your phone
    – You should be taken directly to your Google review page

🛠️ How to Program NFC-Only TAPro Products (No QR Code Required)

⚠️ IMPORTANT:
This guide is for products that have only an NFC chip inside — no QR code anywhere on the product.
This includes:

  • TAPro NFC Business Cards

  • Tap Tags and Coins

  • Keychains, Bracelets, and NFC Plates

  • “Learn More” Stands without QR

✅ You can use this method to program almost any blank NFC tag available on the market, as long as it's not locked and doesn’t have a password set.


📲 What You’ll Need:

  • A smartphone with NFC (most modern phones)

  • A TAPro NFC product without a QR code

  • The NFC Tools app (free, no signup)


🧭 Step-by-Step Instructions: NFC Tools App (Free)


1. 🔍 Download the App


2. 🖊️ Open the App > Tap “Write”

  • Launch the app

  • Tap on the “Write” tab at the bottom


3. 🔗 Tap “Add a Record” > Choose “URL/URI”

  • Tap “Add a Record”

  • Select “URL/URI” from the list

  • Paste in your Google Review link, website, profile, or any landing page URL
    (Make sure it’s mobile-friendly)


4. 📲 Write the Info to the NFC Tag

  • Tap the “Write” button

  • Hold the NFC product (card, keychain, bracelet, etc.) to the back of your phone

  • ✅ Wait for confirmation: “Write successful”


5. 🧪 Test It

  • Exit the app

  • Tap the NFC product to the phone

  • The programmed link should open instantly
    ✔️ Success!


🧼 Pro Tips & Common Mistakes

  • Don’t use super long or redirect-heavy links (use bit.ly or direct links instead)

  • Make sure the surface is clean for a good NFC read

  • Keep the phone steady — don’t move during writing

  • You can reprogram or erase using the “Other” tab in NFC Tools
